The primary focus of this role is helping the CEO to develop and administer a new Scholarship programme and assist with Grant writing and strategies for area charities. We believe this will be an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in the Wakatipu community.

Due to the nature of our work, job descriptions are fluid and may adapt as priorities shift. Teamwork is the norm and all employees are expected to assist other employees and trustees when needed. As a part of our mission of growing local philanthropy, the WCF is committed to providing the highest quality of service and support to the Wakatipu community (i.e., donors, potential donors, not-for-profit organisations, and the community at large).

Leave Your Local Legacy

When you’re ready, here’s how we can help you:

  • Determine what you most love and care about in your community and showing you how you could support and impact causes that matter to you

  • Providing information on giving strategies

  • Connecting you with local causes, programmes or charities doing good work in your community

  • Tailoring a plan of how you would like your money to be used

  • Simplifying the process by managing all administration, investments and distributing the income – you get to say where your gift goes, which is the best bit!
